Job summary

A leading company in the medical field is seeking a Finance Manager to handle all financial operations including accounts, payroll, cash flow management, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a professional finance qualification, have significant experience in finance/accounting, and demonstrate strong communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. This role also involves leading a team and liaising with various professionals, offering a dynamic work environment.

Job description

Handle a full set of accounts and ensure all accounts are up to date.

Prepare payroll.

Manage accounts receivables, payables, and bank reconciliation.

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.

Manage cash flow, including forecasting and profit and loss projection, as well as overseeing collections and payments.

Prepare management reports, handle taxation, conduct financial analysis, and oversee budget control.

Reconcile intercompany transactions and billings, establishing effective control systems.

Lead, mentor, and manage the finance and accounting team to achieve targets.

Monitor debtor collections and customer leasing processing.

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, and other professionals on financial matters.

Implement internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure accurate reporting.

Requirements:

  • Possess a professional qualification in Finance/Accounting (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
  • Experience with SQL Accounting System is an advantage.
  • Strong skills in financial planning, analysis, cost accounting, and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to start immediately is a plus.
