About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at TALSU POLYMER TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD.' in Port Klang, Selangor. As our Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to contribute to the strategic growth and success of our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Responsible for annual financial reporting, including liaising with external auditors on finalisation of statutory audit

Managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as overseeing the general ledger

Ensure full comply with local tax laws and regulations, including Income tax and all indirect taxes

Manage payroll, banking activities and company expenses

Ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standard

Supervising HR related functions

What we're looking for

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance manager or senior-level accounting role, preferably within the manufacturing industry

Proficient in financial reporting, financial analysis and taxation

Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate financial information to non-financial stakeholders

Proactive, analytical, and problem-solving mindset

Ability to work independently with very minimal supervision

Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is required for communication with stakeholders
