We are seeking an experienced and dependable Finance Manager with a strong focus on financial leadership and a proven track record in driving continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will not only be adept at financial reporting and analysis but will also spearhead the revamp and implementation of finance-related processes through the strategic use of technology and automation. This role is essential in enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and supporting long-term financial health and compliance across the organisation.

About the Role

The Finance Manager will lead the design, revamp, and implementation of finance processes, incorporating new technologies, automation tools, or improvements to existing systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and interpret financial reports for managerial staff and make data-driven recommendations that align with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee core finance operations, including financial reporting, accounts receivable/payable, and ensure smooth, tech-enabled workflows.
  • Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, identify inefficiencies, and implement streamlined procedures that reduce manual workload.
  • Analyse cost structures, pricing models, revenue trends, and variances between actual performance and business plans.
  • Manage group-wide budget preparation and develop robust financial projections and forecasting models.
  • Conduct cost reviews and financial evaluations to identify opportunities for savings and process optimisation.
  • Define departmental KPIs and establish performance tracking mechanisms using automated reporting systems.
  • Ensure financial compliance through active collaboration with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and local authorities.
  • Act as a finance business partner to various internal stakeholders to align operations with broader business strategies.
  • Review and update financial policies and procedures regularly to incorporate best practices and technological advancements.
  • Manage ad hoc strategic and operational assignments, often involving transformation or automation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or Finance (ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent professional qualification is a plus).
  • Have a minimum of ten years of progressive experience in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience leading process improvement, finance system upgrades, or automation projects.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, business intelligence tools, and other digital finance platforms is highly desirable.
