This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Responsibilities include overseeing daily finance operations such as banking transactions, accounts payable and receivable, assets management, general ledger maintenance, and financial analysis and reporting.
Manage the cash conversion cycle to ensure cost efficiency and facilitate effective monthly closing of financials on a weekly and monthly basis.
Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and accounting standards in all accounting practices.
Oversee overseas entities to ensure adherence to local accounting standards and group policies, consolidating their results into group financial statements.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including group consolidation, for management review.
Implement financial risk management strategies, enhance internal controls, and enforce financial policies and procedures.
Supervise, coach, and support team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Coordinate and handle annual external audits with auditors.
Assist in overseeing ERP migration projects to ensure organization and schedule adherence.
Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Analytical, organized, meticulous, responsible, and capable of problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in MS Office.
