A leading company in Negeri Sembilan seeks a Finance Manager to oversee finance operations, ensuring compliance with financial standards and managing the finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Accountancy or relevant professional qualifications, have at least five years of experience, especially in manufacturing, and demonstrate strong people management skills. This role requires expertise in financial analysis, reporting, and risk management, with a strong focus on driving efficiency in financial processes.
This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including Banking Transactions, Accounts Payables/Receivables, Assets Management, General Ledger Maintenance, Financial Analysis and Reporting.
Manage the Cash Conversion Cycle to ensure cost efficiency and drive effective monthly closing of financials on a weekly and monthly basis.
Ensure accounting practices comply with company policies and procedures, statutory requirements and accounting standards.
Ensuring that overseas entities comply with local accounting standards and group policies while consolidating their results into group financial statements.
To prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including Group consolidation accurately for the Management.
To perform financial risk management, including enhancing internal controls, implementing and enforcing financial policies and procedures.
Supervise and coach as well as provide ongoing support and development to the team members in ensuring the timely completion of tasks.
Handles annual external audits with external auditors.
Assist in overseeing the ERP migration project to ensure organization and adherence to the schedule.
Other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Qualifications and Skills Required:
Degree in Accountancy or Professional Qualifications in ACCA, CIMA, or CPA.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with strong people management skills and a background in the MANUFACTURING Industry is preferred.
Good technical knowledge of Accounting Principles & Standards.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical, resourceful, organized, meticulous, responsible, excellent problem-solving skills, and committed to meeting deadlines.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High level of computer literacy in MS Office.
