Finance Manager

Seeking to expand their reach within Malaysian shores, this tech firm is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team.

Your new role

1. Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
2. Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
3. Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and recommend corrective actions.
4. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
5. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
6. Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic activities.
7. Collaborate with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and manage audits.
8. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve operational excellence.

What you'll need to succeed

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional memberships such as CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent is preferred.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting and consolidation.
3. Knowledge in SFRS accounting standards is highly advantageous.
4. In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
5. Strong analytical skills with experience in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
6. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
