Job description

Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Description Summary: The role aims to ensure day-to-day finance operations are executed efficiently, with timely and accurate financial reporting of the contract spend each month, and business partnering support for planning and analytics.

About the role:

Period end activities:

  • Completion of the APAC region monthly close using accrual accounting methods, including revenue and expense accruals, and other accruals and provisions—building a process to identify these from within the business.

Accounts Payable:

  • Overseeing P2P process with 2 AP Analysts, ensuring invoices are processed within SLAs.
  • Following up on queries/outstanding deliverables by the AP team.
  • Ensuring vendor reconciliations are done timely.
  • Managing cash flow and reviewing vendor payments.
  • Onboarding new vendors and maintaining current vendor records.

Accounts Receivable:

  • Managing funding process, including cost reports and monthly invoice reviews.
  • Tracking AR aging and following up on outstanding invoices.
  • Ensuring timely remittance of funds to the corporate office.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monthly contract spend variance reporting versus budget.
  • Month-end variance analysis and key commentary.
  • Completing corporate journals for revenue gross-up and related entries.
  • Delivering all month-end reporting requirements.
  • Benchmarking and analyzing commercial contracts.

Planning:

  • Supporting the development of the annual business plan with operational leaders.

Training:

  • Providing training, coaching, and support to Facility and Site Managers on business and financial issues.
  • Establishing structures and resources for cost control and continuous improvement across sites.

Others:

  • Assisting in forecast and AOP processes.
  • Managing administrative tasks for the current ERP system.
  • Supporting Global Finance Director on key projects.
  • Performing ad-hoc tasks as required.

About you:

  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Experience across multiple markets and regions is an advantage.
  • Qualified CA/CPA.
  • Knowledge of Yardi, JDE, WorkDay, and SAP preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
