Lead and manage the day-to-day financial operations such as accounts receivable, payable and credit control.

Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, managing expenditures, closing accounts, analyzing variances, and implementing corrective actions promptly.

Assesses financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses, coordinating the consolidation of financial data, and generating special reports as needed.

Monitors and manages the organization’s cash flow to ensure the business has sufficient liquidity to meet its operational needs and obligations.

Ensures accounting controls by establishing and maintaining a chart of accounts, and defining accounting policies and procedures.

Ensures the organization complies with all tax regulations by overseeing tax filings and payments.

Mitigates legal risks by staying updated on current and proposed legislation, enforcing accounting regulations, and suggesting procedural improvements.

Liaise with bankers, auditors, government regulatory bodies, company's secretary and tax agents, prepare all supporting documents for the annual audit.

Manages subsidiary company accounts and performs necessary consolidations to ensure accurate financial reporting across the organization.

Undertake other ad-hoc assignments as and when required by the management.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of the local accounting rules, regulations, taxes.

Able to consolidate group accounts.

Professional Qualification: Member of Malaysia Institute Accountants (MIA).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Demonstrates a strong commitment to responsibility, integrity, and confidentiality when managing financial information.
