Job description

Lead comprehensive finance operations that have a direct impact on business performance. This hands-on role requires a balance of strategic oversight and active operational involvement.

Finance Operations Management: Manage the full spectrum of finance operations, including oversight of invoice processing, payment functions, general ledger accuracy, ERP integration, and related activities—ensuring alignment with financial goals and operational efficiency.

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports with analysis to support management decisions.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process across all departments and support department heads in managing their budgets effectively. Monitor actual performance vs. budget and highlight variances with corrective action plans.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Monitor cash flow, forecast cash requirements, and manage banking relationships.

Team Development: Lead and develop the finance team by promoting collaboration, accountability, and ongoing professional development.

Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary liaison with external stakeholders including auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers. Work closely with internal teams—such as procurement, IT, and warehouse—to enhance financial processes, system integration, and reporting standards.

Compliance & Regulatory Reporting: Ensure all statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements (e.g., withholding tax, e-invoice, transfer pricing) are met accurately and on time.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably with retail industry or in a similar capacity.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, financial software, and reporting tools.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems is a must; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is an advantage, though experience in any platform is welcome.

Proven ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
