Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all financial statements of the Group are in compliance with regulations.
• Reviewing the Group monthly management reports including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow statement, and other accounting statements on profit performance and financial position, as well as quarterly, semi-annually and annual forecasts.
• Reviewing the Group annual budgets and ensuring effective budgetary control of actual performance against plan by periodic investigation and assess the financial implication of the variances.
• Ensuring the adherence of uniform accounting practices, adequate internal controls, in accordance with the policies and procedures in the Group.
• Tax planning for the Group to minimise tax exposure.
• Reviewing profit and cash flow forecasts and projections on a periodic basis.
• Reviewing Audited Accounts.
• Reviewing and recommending proposals to improve the Group financial, accounting and internal controls.
• Keeping abreast with current developments in domestic and foreign affairs, corporate scene, regulatory and statutory requirements, accounting pronouncement which have an impact on the Group.
• Assisting in the liaison and coordination with external consultants, merchant bankers, auditors, tax agents or any other third parties in carrying out the responsibilities and duties.
• Prepared and review the costing report.
• Prepared the simplified TP report and review the contemporaneous TP report.
• Undertakes any other tasks and assignments as directed by the Management.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent. Candidates who are pursuing Professional Accountancy courses are also encouraged to apply.
• At least 6 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Good command of English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office Software) with good knowledge in Excel and accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamic NAV.
• Possess excellent interpersonal skill, self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently under pressure.
