Overview:
Drive financial excellence in a high-growth environment! We’re looking for a Finance Manager (or Senior Finance Manager, depending on experience) to take the lead in managing the Group’s financial operations and reporting. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee accounting functions, budgeting, audits, tax compliance, and financial analysis, ensuring alignment with Hong Kong and international accounting standards.
If you thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and have 5+ years of post-qualified experience in financial management, reporting, and controls, we want to hear from you! A professional certification (HKICPA, CIMA, ACCA) is required, and experience in fiduciary or fund accounting is a plus.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the Group’s day-to-day financial operations, including billing, AR, AP, GL, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
Take charge of the month-end and year-end close process, preparing financial statements and management reports.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, adhering to international accounting standards, while driving improvements in report quality and analysis.
Manage the annual audit and tax engagements, tracking deadlines and ensuring compliance.
Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts for all entities under the Group.
Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions and key partners.
Provide strategic insights through financial analysis, performance metrics, and trend reporting.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth.
Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Handle ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.
What You Bring:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
Active professional certification (CIMA, ACCA).
5+ years of post-qualified experience in finance, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong knowledge of Hong Kong / Malaysia accounting standards, financial reporting, tax regulations, and industry legislation.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Power Query), accounting software, and financial databases.
Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to solve complex accounting challenges.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Ability to interpret and present financial data to both internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in fiduciary or fund accounting is a plus.
