Job description

Ensure payments are completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Solve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices.

Monitor backlog invoices and give direction to teams to drive down the backlog number accordingly.

Review reports and vendor reconciliations and act on overdue open items.

Responsible for ensuring KPIs for Accounts Receivable and Payable are met, which include timely processing and payment of invoices.

Develop action plans to help the team achieve KPIs.

Verify and review supplier payments, staff commission claims, and trade applications.

Establish and implement effective Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Internal Control Procedures to improve Finance and Reporting Systems.

Ensure timely Inland Revenue Board (IRB) tax returns submission and compliance at all times.

Responsible for Tax Planning & Compliance.

Review statutory audit reports, inventory management, and Debtors Ageing Reports.
