About the role

We are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru, Johor. As our Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and strategic decision-making for our growing company. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative organisation.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's overall business objectives

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses

Manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring efficient allocation of financial resources

Provide strategic financial advice and recommendations to the senior management team

Design and maintain consistent, effective and controlled processes and frameworks for accurate and timely financial reporting for the Group

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal requirements

Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the finance function's efficiency and effectiveness

What we're looking for

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

8+ years of experience in a similar finance management role, preferably within the Accounting industry

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights

Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting best practices

Proficient in financial modelling and data analysis using tools like Excel

Proven track record of leading and motivating a finance team

Familiar with Australia property market

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is highly desirable
