Job Responsibilities

• Head the financial operations, prepare financial reports, manage forecast & budgets and regulatory compliance in financial reports and corporate tax.
• Finance business partner supporting Plant Manager, Operation and Other Stakeholders.
• Finance Operation
• Handle the full spectrum of financial reporting and accounting functions, including timely preparation of monthly financial and management reports, review, as well as analysis of results.
• Ensure timely customers and inter-co billings.
• Control and manage end-to-end financial processes, including collections, payments, monthly close activities, and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Ensure all accounting systems, practices, controls, and procedures are fully compliant with Financial Reporting Standards.
• Prepare monthly import SST filling, e-invoicing uploading and ensure compliance with tax laws, regulations and reporting requirements (e.g. SST, corporate tax, income tax & e-invoice).
• Take charge of the budgeting and forecast process, collaborating with department heads to establish financial goals aligned with the company's overall strategy.
• Ensure compliance with the group internal controls and standard operating procedures.
• Prepare monthly cash flow report, manage treasury and cash flow, tax and financial risks in accordance with the company's policies and identify risks and opportunities.
• Liaise with bankers on treasury matters.
• Liaise with IT to enhance the financial system to reflect changes of regulation and legislation compliances (e.g. e-invoicing).
• Identify the root cause of operation deviation from Company's policies, provide assistance and guidance to avoid the non-compliances.
• Coordinate yearly stock count with Operation team.

Compliance & Reporting

• Liaise with auditors on year-end Statutory Audit and Audited Financial Statements.
• Liaise with tax agent on Annual Corporate Tax Return and Transfer Pricing Documentation.
• Liaise with Company Secretary on secretary matters and annual return.

Team Management

• Provide effective leadership to the finance team, offering guidance, support, and mentorship.

Others

• Handle factory's MIDA Manufacturing license, MPKU Business license and Assessment payment, State Land Levy & Signboard license (MPKU), Fire certification (Bomba), and Energy commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) renewal.
• Submission of marine cargo insurance & annual General Insurance coverage renewal.
• Coordinate with Group IT related issues such as server room equipment, Yealink system, telecommunication system and Internet connection.
• Support Malaysia Finance Manager and Plant Manager on projects and products costing.
• Undertake other projects and ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Education / Professional Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or professional qualification such as CIMA or ACCA.
• At least 5 years' experience in leading a finance operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Good analytical skills and meticulous.
• Knowledge or experience of SAP S4 Hana.
• Strong command in Microsoft Excel and other MS applications.
