YPJ Holdings Sdn. Bhd. (YPJH) was established on 24 November 1993 as a wholly owned company of Yayasan Pelajaran Johor (YPJ). YPJ itself was established in 1982 under the Johor State Enactment.
YPJH was created to manage YPJ’s investments and commercial activities. This was following the restructuring carried out on 1 January 1994, when these activities were transferred to YPJH as part of long-term management.
As an asset holding company, YPJH holds equity in its subsidiaries and associated companies. Its operations encompass the plantation sector, property development and management, as well as services and corporate management both domestically and internationally.
In line with our ongoing business expansion and commitment to operational excellence, YPJ Holdings Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results-driven Finance Manager to join our team.
As a Finance Manger you have to lead and oversee the overall financial operations of the company and its group of subsidiaries, encompassing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, taxation, compliance, and financial consolidation to ensure alignment with accounting standards and corporate strategic objectives
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the company’s and group’s financial statements.
Manage budgeting, funding, and cash flow effectively and efficiently.
Ensure full compliance with all legal and tax requirements.
Supervise the consolidation of the group’s financial reports.
Support internal and external audit processes and provide financial data for strategic management decisions.
1. Financial Reporting and Statements
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the holding company and its subsidiaries.
Ensure reporting compliance with MFRS standards and the requirements of the Board of Directors.
2. Budget Planning and Monitoring
Oversee the preparation of the annual budget and monitor financial performance against the approved budget.
Conduct variance analysis and monthly financial performance reporting.
3. Fund and Cash Flow Management
Ensure operational funding sufficiency and manage daily cash flow.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and fund optimization strategies.
4. Taxation and Compliance
Supervise tax compliance, tax computation, and preparation of reports for LHDN.
Ensure adherence to financial laws and audit regulations.
Prepare and consolidate financial reports of subsidiaries for group-level corporate reporting.
6. Supervision and Audits
Supervise the finance team, including accountants and finance executives.
Support internal and external audit processes and coordinate responses to audit findings.
7. Financial Analysis and Strategy
Provide financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and improvements in financial efficiency.
8. Documentation and Systems
Coordinate the use of financial systems and review key financial documents such as vouchers, account statements, journals, and adjustments.
9. Additional Tasks
Prepare documents for Board meetings and undertake other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Technical
Advanced financial analysis skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification. Preference given to certified accountants (CPA, ACCA, CIMA).
Minimum 8 years of experience in finance/accounting, including supervisory/management roles.
Proficient in accounting systems such as FMIS, Microsoft Excel, and financial consolidation software.
In-depth knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards (MPERS/MFRS), taxation, and corporate financial management.
Minimum 10 years in accounting field.
Strong understanding of corporate finance and treasury management.
Professional Certification
Full Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA)
