A dynamic entertainment company is looking for a Finance Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure compliance with financial standards. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the field, particularly in the F&B sector, and will be responsible for preparing comprehensive management reports and maintaining an effective filing system. Proficiency in AutoCount accounting software and multilingual communication skills in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia are required.

Tasks & responsibilities
•Daily operations of accounting record and filing – identifying and keying in daily business transactions according to financial timelines. Performing banking errands to bank-in/withdraw cash, bank-in cheques and perform bank transfers at various banks when necessary.
•Ensure all invoices and payments are processed – preparing payment vouchers and issuing cheques according to financial timelines.
•Monthly preparation of full set of high-quality management report (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow), including fixed assets listing, accrual and prepayment schedules, journals, bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, stock-in-transit and inventory schedule on a timely basis.
•Research and resolve accounting problems to ensure financial reports are compliant with company internal policies and all latest accounting and reporting standards, taxation regulations and audit requirements imposed by regulatory bodies.
• Provide timely reports and advice to management on the status of company’s financial position, operational results and the financial implications of various operational decisions.
•Proactive monitoring of financial planning and budgetary control.
•Prepare, coordinate and complete annual accounts for statutory audits.
•Continuous monitor and review of current practices and procedures to make recommendations and enhancements where necessary. Enforce internal controls, accounting and operation processes and procedures including process improvements.
•Handle admin duties and provide assistance to other departments upon request from time to time.
•Responsible for the Company’s full set of accounts with minimal supervision.
•Responsible for the day-to-day operational matters of the accounts department, timely and accurate accounting data entries into the Company’s accounting software, including preparing the Company’s payment voucher and issuing cheques after receiving authorization from the Management – on the compliance of internal control procedure and accounting policy.
• Monitor bank balance/ cash flow position and fund placement.
• Liaise with Financial Institutions, auditors, tax agent on accounting and financial related matters.
•Responsible in managing, updating, improving and maintaining an accurate and effective filing system.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly accounts, management reports, forecasts, and other related reports as requested by the company.

•To support and participate in ad-hoc tasks as andwhenassigned.
Requirement:
(a) Possess minimum Degree or recognized Professional Accounting Qualifications in Finance/Accounting
(b) At Least 5 – 10 years of working experience in accounting line. Experience in F&B environment is an added advantage.
(c) Able to communicate in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
(d) Good Analytical skills, details, trustworthy and committed to meet deadlines.
(e) Proficiency in AutoCount Accounting software.
(f) Ability to prioritize among competing tasks with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
(g) Strong Knowledge withe-invoicing.
