About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join the dynamic team at Capri by Fraser Johor Bahru. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and reporting for our prestigious hotel in Johor Bahru, Johor.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and internal controls.

Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.

Oversee taxation matters and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, banks, and relevant authorities.

Supervise the finance team and ensure efficient day-to-day operations (accounts payable, receivable, payroll, general ledger, etc.).

Implement and improve financial procedures and internal controls.

Support the General Manager and Executive Team in strategic decision-making and financial planning.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the hotel or hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and hospitality-specific financial practices.

Knowledge of industry regulations, financial compliance, and audit requirements in hospitality.

Proficient in hotel management systems and financial software (Sage 300).

Excellent leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

High level of integrity, initiative, and attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
