Job Summary:

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Head of Operations Finance to lead the financial planning, analysis, and business partnering for our operations and supply chain functions. You will serve as a bridge between Finance and Operations, driving cost optimization, efficiency, and profitability across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Finance & Business Partnering:

  • Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to drive business performance
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support operational decisions and capital investments
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes for all operational units

Cost Management & Optimization:

  • Oversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and standard costing methodologies
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements across the supply chain and production processes
  • Monitor key KPIs such as OEE, conversion cost, cost per unit, yield, and scrap rates

Performance Management & Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for operations performance tracking
  • Analyze variances (actual vs. budget/forecast) and highlight risks/opportunities
  • Support plant controllers and operational finance teams with data-driven insights

Capex & Investment Planning:

  • Evaluate capital expenditure proposals and track ROI on operational investments
  • Support scenario modeling and business cases for expansion or automation projects

Governance, Controls & Compliance:

  • Ensure strong internal controls and financial discipline in operational areas
  • Support audits, inventory controls, and compliance with financial and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • CA / CMA / MBA in Finance or equivalent
  • 10–15 years of experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing/operations finance role
  • Strong understanding of plant operations, supply chain dynamics, and cost accounting
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
