Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company. This role involves managing financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting processes to ensure the company’s financial health. The Finance Manager will provide strategic financial guidance to senior management and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions.
    • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
    • Prepare financial forecasts and budgets in collaboration with department heads.
  2. Budget Management:

    • Monitor and manage the company’s budget, ensuring adherence to financial plans.
    • Identify and address variances between actual and budgeted figures.
    • Provide regular budget reports to senior management.
  3. Financial Reporting:

    • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
    • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  4. Cash Flow Management:

    • Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure liquidity.
    • Develop strategies to optimize working capital.
    • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  5. Risk Management:

    • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
    • Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors.
  6. Team Management:

    • Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and development opportunities.
    • Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team.
  7. Strategic Financial Planning:

    • Support the development and execution of the company’s long-term financial strategy.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth.
    • Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies that align with the company’s goals.
  8. Compliance and Governance:

    • Ensure adherence to all financial and accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
    • Oversee tax planning and compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
    • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification is preferred.
