Jda Wms is seeking a Finance Lead to oversee group consolidation and statutory reporting for a large group of companies. You will ensure financial statements are accurate, timely and compliant with MFRS and regulatory requirements, and you will lead the external audit process.

Responsibilities include consolidations, statutory statements, audit coordination, MFRS implementation, intercompany eliminations, and disclosures for annual reports and Bursa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification such as MIA/ACCA/MICPA or equivalent.
• 5+ years in group consolidation and statutory reporting within a large group of companies.
• Big 4 audit experience, preferably recent years.

Responsabilités

• Lead preparation of the group's consolidated financial statements monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Prepare statutory financial statements in compliance with MFRS and Companies Act 2016.
• Manage end-to-end external audit process with auditors.
• Assess impact of new or revised MFRS and implement across the group.
• Review intercompany eliminations and reconciliations.
• Prepare disclosures for annual report and Bursa Malaysia.

We are looking for a Finance Lead to oversee group consolidation and statutory reporting for a large group of companies. You will make sure the group's financial statements are accurate, timely and compliant with MFRS and regulatory requirements, and you will lead the external audit process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of the group's consolidated financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Prepare statutory financial statements for the group and its subsidiaries in compliance with MFRS, the Companies Act 2016 and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage the end-to-end external audit process, including planning, coordinating with auditors and resolving audit issues.
• Assess the impact of new or revised MFRS and lead their implementation across the group.
• Review intercompany transactions, eliminations and reconciliations.
• Prepare disclosures and reporting for the annual report, Bursa Malaysia and other regulatory submissions, where applicable.
• Develop and improve reporting processes, controls and accounting policies.
• Provide technical accounting advice to business units and management.
• Guide and develop junior members of the finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as MIA, ACCA, MICPA or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in group consolidation and statutory reporting within a large group of companies.
• More than 5 years of Big 4 audit experience, preferably in recent years.
• Proven track record in managing the external audit process and implementing new or revised MFRS.
• Strong technical knowledge of MFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
