Job summary

Wish Team Advisory in Malaysia is offering a Finance Intern position designed to give hands-on exposure to real finance and business operations. You will learn about insurance commissions, customer premiums and agency financial processes, with coaching from experienced team members.

You will develop practical skills in Excel, data management, reporting and workplace communication, with opportunities to work with different teams and gain exposure beyond textbooks.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business or related fields
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial concepts
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Knowledge of basic Excel formulas will be an advantage
• Detail-oriented, organized and comfortable with numbers
• Good communication skills in Mandarin and English; Mandarin is required for Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• Interest in insurance, financial services or business operations is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily financial records, invoices, payment documents and expense claims
• Organise and reconcile customer, policy, commission and business-related data
• Ensure financial information and records are accurate, complete and updated
• Prepare basic financial reports, summaries and management information
• Maintain proper electronic and physical documentation
• Coordinate with internal teams on finance-related documents and administrative follow-ups
• Handle confidential information responsibly and follow internal procedures
• Support other finance and business administration tasks when required
