Job summary

Motorola Solutions is offering a Finance Intern position in Penang, Malaysia for January 2027 intake with a four-month duration. The role is based in Bayan Lepas and requires pursuing a Bachelor’s in Finance and Accounting.

The intern will assist in project accounting close, analyze discrepancies, and support key metrics across supported countries. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with strong analytical and verbal/written communication

Qualifications

Candidate must possess or be currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Finance and Accounting.
Self-starter capable of working independently with internal teams and external partners.
Strong analytical, comprehension and problem solving skills, plus written and verbal communication.
Current active students of recognized universities and colleges.
Minimum CGPA score of 3.0 and above.
Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang; start in May or June.
Minimum internship period of 4 months.

Responsibilities

Compile and analyze data related to Project Accounting adjustments.
Review negative indicators and identify root causes of discrepancies and delinquencies in Project Accounting.
Assist in performing accounting close accurately and on-time.
Recommend changes to eliminate future inaccuracies from recurring issues.
Report and support business metrics by Projects for supported countries.
Perform any other ad-hoc duties.
