Job summary

Aspiratio Advisory is seeking a Finance Intern in Kuala Lumpur for a contract-based internship. You will work with seasoned professionals in financial planning and banking services, gaining hands-on experience in client management and market analysis.

Role involves supporting financial analysis, developing plans, and analyzing market data while contributing to client presentations and documentation. This is an excellent entry point into finance careers within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to work accurately with financial data.
• Demonstrated interest in financial planning, investment management or banking services.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting financial analysis and preparing reports for clients.
• Support the development of financial plans and investment recommendations.
• Gather and analyse market data and economic indicators relevant to financial planning.
• Help maintain and update client financial records and documentation.
• Participate in client meetings and administrative tasks as required.
• Conduct research on investment products, services and industry trends.
• Support the team with data entry, filing and general administrative duties.
• Contribute to the preparation of presentations and client communications.
