Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Penang, Malaysia, invites an intern to join the APAC Channel, Business Accounting, and FP&A teams to support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, contributing to P&L, journal entries, and reporting using Alteryx and Mansum; ongoing process improvements and accounting reports.

This internship requires a Bachelor student in finance or accounting, CGPA 3.0+, strong analytical and communication

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Finance or Accounting.
• Self-starter who can work independently and interface with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem solving skills, plus strong verbal and written communication.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage time across multiple tasks in a team.
• Currently enrolled students at recognized universities; CGPA 3.0+.
• Prefer internship start immediately; willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly closing activities for APAC Channel, Business Accounting & FP&A (P&L, JE, Alteryx & Mansum reports).
• Assist clean-up of APAC business accounting/FP&A processes.
• Contribute to various process improvement projects.
• Support accounting reports and ad-hoc tasks.

Job Description Summary

The position is to support the APAC Channel, Business Accounting Team & Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in maintaining business operation and support in APAC monthly, quarterly or year end close business activities.

Responsibilities

• To support monthly closing activities for APAC Channel, Business Accounting & FP&A team - P&L, JE, Alteryx & Mansum Reports.
• To support clean up process for APAC business accounting/FP&A
• To support various process improvement projects
• To support various accounting reports
• To support ad-hoc

Basic Requirements

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Business Finance or Accounting
• Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners is needed
• Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to conceptualize
• Attention to detail, ability to manage time and work flow, works on multiple assignments and manages rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
• Current active students of an recognized universities and colleges
• Minimum CGPA score of 3.0 and above
• Prefer candidate who can start internship immediate if possible
• Driven, self-motivated and results oriented
• Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang
