Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd is offering an internship within the APAC Channel, Business Accounting & FP&A teams in Bayan Lepas, Penang. The role supports monthly, quarterly, or year-end close activities and requires pursuing a Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting with CGPA 3.0+.

Ideal candidates are analytical, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate with internal teams and external partners. Immediate start is preferred, with exposure to Alteryx and Mansum reports.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess or be pursuing a BachelorDegree in Business Finance or Accounting.
• Self-starter who can work independently and interface with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem solving skills with solid written and verbal communication.
• Attention to detail, able to manage time/workflow and handle multiple tasks.
• Active students at recognized universities; CGPA 3.0+.
• Willing to start internship immediately and to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly closing activities for APAC Channel, Business Accounting & FP&A team (P&L, JE, Alteryx & Mansum Reports).
• Assist cleanup processes for APAC business accounting/FP&A.
• Contribute to various process improvement projects.
• Support various accounting reports and ad-hoc requests.

Summary

The position is to support the APAC Channel, Business Accounting Team & Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) in maintaining business operation and support in APAC monthly, quarterly or year end close business activities.

Responsibilities

• To support monthly closing activities for APAC Channel, Business Accounting & FP&A team - P&L, JE, Alteryx & Mansum Reports.
• To support clean up process for APAC business accounting/FP&A
• To support various process improvement projects
• To support various accounting reports
• To support ad-hoc

Basic Requirements

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a BachelorDegree in Business Finance or Accounting
• Must be a self-starter who is able to work independently and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners is needed
• Strong analytical, comprehension, and problem solving skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to conceptualize
• Attention to detail, ability to manage time and work flow, works on multiple assignments and manages rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
• Current active students of an recognized universities and colleges
• Minimum CGPA score of 3.0 and above
• Prefer candidate who can start internship immediate if possible
• Driven, self-motivated and results oriented
• Willing to work in Bayan Lepas, Penang
