Job summary

PayNet in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance Governance Lead to shape and oversee governance across the group. You will ensure finance scorecards, policies, and procedures are current and coherently applied while engaging senior stakeholders.

You will align regulator-facing matters, new entity setups, and emerging risks with a clear position, while guiding Board papers and decision narratives to strengthen approvals and risk posture.

• Serve as Finance's first line of defence for governance discipline, ensuring the Finance scorecard, policies, and operating procedures are current, coherent, and consistently applied.
• Own Finance governance across the Group, shaping how financial decisions are structured, approved, and controlled across Board, committees, and management.
• Lead Finance inputs into Board and committee papers, defining decision narratives, surfacing trade-offs, and strengthening approval clarity.
• Act as central authority on financial governance and risk, aligning regulator-facing matters, new entity setups, and emerging financial risks with a clear, consistent position.
