Job description

Responsible for the activities in the accounts payable function across invoices, staff claims, expenses and payment.

Responsible for the activities in the accounts receivable function across customer receipts and sending monthly/weekly statement of accounts to customers.

Oversee and manage customer receipts, vendor invoice, vendor payments, claims to process and record into the accounting system on a timely basis.

Review and manage customers and vendors reconciliation.

Monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable aging to ensure no long outstanding items.

Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities (identify, communicate and facilitate resolution with the internal and external stakeholders).

Assist in month end and year end closing of accounts.

Ensure financial records are in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Maintain proper filing of all correspondences/documentations and reports for audit purpose.

Perform any other duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements

Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Logistics or related field.

At least 2 years of experience in accounting and logistics industry.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

Comfortable to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Able to multitask and work independently with minimum supervision.

A team player and able to handle confidential information.

Required to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders from overseas, proficient in Mandarin will be beneficial.
