• Handle day-to-day accounting data entries, payment and reconciliations of the Group of entities, ensuring timely and accuracy of the transactions.
• Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounts closing.
• Coordinate with operational units, branches and other departments on proper accounting entry to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly as well as comply with Malaysia accounting standards, statutory requirements and external requirements.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Prepare schedule and reconciliation for month-end closing.
• Assist in audit and tax-related matters, including the preparation of necessary documentation.
• Maintain proper accounting record and filing system.
• Utilize accounting software and financial systems to perform accounting tasks efficiently and accurately, including entering and maintaining financial data, generating reports, and participating in system upgrades or implementations.
• Evaluate new projects and assess compliance.
• Assist in budgets and forecasts preparation.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Job Requirement:

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and be result-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience; auditing experience is an added advantage.
• Experience in management accounting, reporting, and costing.
• Experience with ERP Sage X3 and AutoCount system is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proactive, fast learner, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
