We are looking for a Senior Finance Executive to join our dynamic team. This role will play a key part in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), full-set accounting, cash flow management, budgeting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of financial processes.
Role And Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Prepare weekly payment proposals for the Finance Manager and Head of Finance
- Ensure all payments have sufficient documentation (e.g., PO approvals, invoices)
- Review and approve monthly membership invoices based on the operations membership tracker
- Assist junior AP and AR staff in resolving daily finance operation issues
- Full-Set Accounting
- Monitor accruals and prepayments, ensuring timely recognition and write-offs
- Post manual journal entries to ensure up-to-date and reliable management accounts
- Conduct financial analysis and present EBITDA and net profit/loss reports to the Finance Manager, Country Manager, and FP&A team
- Assist the Finance Manager with the IFRS16 lease schedule and postings
- Cash Flow & Forecasting
- Maintain and update monthly cash flow reports based on bank transactions
- Prepare 12-month cash flow forecasts, factoring in recurring expenses, upcoming renewals, and variable spending trends
- Budgeting
- Collaborate with the Country Manager, Finance Manager, and other departments to prepare budgets aligned with recurring expenses and strategic plans
- Ad-Hoc Responsibilities
- Liaise with bankers, auditors, and tax agents on financial matters
- Process Improvement
- Optimize weekly payment processes by streamlining workflows and ensuring complete documentation, resulting in a fixed payment cycle and structured approval process
- Work closely with the Country Manager to implement bi-weekly finance and operations calls to strengthen cross-department collaboration and ensure a smooth workflow
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, financial reporting, and full-set accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Prior experience in real estate, co-working spaces, or startups is a plus
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage
