Role Description
This is a contract role for a Finance Executive – Reporting at Little Caliphs International Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam. As a Finance Executive – Reporting, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing financial reporting processes, handling Goods and Services Tax (GST) matters, and supporting financial operations through analytical skills. The detailed job description includes:
- Performing accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements
- Maintaining a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and IFRS
- Performing intercompany posting of invoices
- Assisting in preparing work instruction guides for relevant work functions
- Supporting ad-hoc assignments, analysis, projects, and reporting
- Supporting the production of yearly budgets and revenue forecasts
- Supporting monthly accounting close and financial reporting processes for P&L and balance sheets
- Reviewing, analyzing, and interpreting monthly financial results
- Collaborating to build the yearly operating plan and managing the annual financial planning process
- Monitoring daily cash collections
- Conducting intercompany reconciliations
- Establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
- Managing operational strategic workforce planning for the A/R team, including forecasting and analyzing growth trends
- Providing quarterly updates on performance and hiring recommendations
- Forecasting monthly, quarterly, and yearly cash collections in partnership with Treasury
- Generating results metrics and presentations monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Building and managing long-range plans in conjunction with the Financial Reporting Lead
- Leveraging analytics to deliver finance insights
- Maintaining data quality and validity
- Providing BI support and ad hoc analysis to aid business leaders
- Assisting in budget preparations
- Reconciling transactions daily, monthly, and yearly
- Preparing balance sheets
- Developing organizational knowledge of products and processes
- Providing customer service and resolving financial disputes
- Serving as a key contact for other departments on financial matters
- Supporting finance managers and executives with projects and tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Starting salary ranges from RM2,000 to RM2,300 based on experience.
