Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to support our Project Development team. The role involves managing and tracking project finances, assisting in budgeting, cost control, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.

Assist in the preparation of project financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Ensure financial compliance with company policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with procurement, contracts, and project teams for cost validations and approvals.

Assist in financial due diligence for new project proposals and feasibility studies.

Track project expenses, billing schedules, and ensure timely invoicing and collections.

Analyze financial performance of ongoing projects and prepare variance reports.

Maintain and update project-related financial documentation and records.

Work and liaise with Development Manager/Director in P&L projection and ROI analysis for project development.

Independently prepare feasibility reports and business projections with guidance, input, and materials provided by senior team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.

2-4 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in the construction, real estate, or infrastructure sector.

Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and project finance principles.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (SQL or similar).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

Experience in project-based accounting or finance.

Familiarity with financial modelling and project cash flow management.

Good understanding of contracts, vendor payments, and project procurement cycles.
