Job description

HOYA Electronics Malaysia are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented FP&A Executive to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting strategic decision-making through financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will provide data-driven insights and financial guidance to help the organization allocate resources effectively and stay aligned with its goals and objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis
• Prepare monthly forecasts to support forward-looking business decisions
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports to Central Finance
• Work with department managers to collect data for annual plans and quarterly budgets
• Organize internal management reviews, prepare and submit reports to Central Finance
• Conduct budget analysis to track financial performance against targets
• Maintain and monitor the company’s 5-year Capex plan
• Provide monthly and quarterly updates on Capex movements
• Support management with ad hoc reports and special assignments as needed

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in management reporting or FP&A
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in advanced Excel functions
• Detailed oriented, analytical, and able to work independently
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the discipline to meet reporting deadlines
