Hogarth Worldwide SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Finance Executive to support AR activities and financial reporting for a 3-month contract. You will assist in monthly results, intercompany processes, and ensuring timely journal entries within a busy finance function.

The role requires a degree in Accountancy and at least 3 years of audit experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to meet tight deadlines. Hybrid work setup offered with office four days a week.

• At least 3 years audit experience in a medium size firm.
• Experience handling full set accounts and general ledger; AP experience is a plus.
• Strong transactional accounting and system skills.
• Exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley principles would be an advantage.
• Good communicator, both oral and written.
• Well organized with ability to manage a busy reporting timetable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a bright, energetic talent who can assist the Finance Manager in reporting of monthly results for Hogarth, financial reporting and assisting in the smooth running of the finance function within the company.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Client and intercompany billings
• Create new clients
• Create intercompany PO
• Follow up with clients for payments
• Prepare journal entries
• Work with Account Servicing team/project manager to verify the job completion status and closure
• Timely response to emails related to AR function
• Assist in month-end reporting and closing
• Ad hoc financial projects when required

Requirements

• University degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 3 years audit experience in at least medium size firm
• Experience in handling full set accounts and general ledger function as well as account payables will be an added advantage
• Strong transactional accounting and system skills
• Good audit experience, but operationally focussed
• Exposure to and an effective understanding of principles of Sarbanes Oxley would be an advantage
• Good communicator, both oral and written.
• Well organised and able to manage a busy reporting timetable with multiple deliverables whilst maintaining strong attention to details
• Be able to work independently as well as part a team
• Positive attitude towards problem solving and tight deadlines
• Outstanding organizational and analytical skills
