We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Executive to oversee the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing full-set accounts, financial reporting, tax compliance, and cash flow management. This role requires an independent professional who can ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Set Accounting
- Manage full-set accounts including general ledger, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and fixed assets.
- Record all daily financial transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation.
- Perform monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Generate financial reports and provide analysis for management decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., MFRS/IFRS).
- Tax Management
- Prepare and file SST, Corporate Tax, and other statutory tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
- Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities when required.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Track actual expenses and revenues against the budget, providing variance analysis.
- Cash Flow & Cost Management
- Monitor cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
- Manage accounts receivable collections and accounts payable schedules to optimize cash flow.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving and process improvements.
- Audit & Compliance
- Assist with annual audits, ensuring accurate records and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and resolve audit issues promptly.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Other Financial Duties
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as requested by management.
- Ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations, SST, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL, Xero, QuickBooks, or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
