PANASONIC MALAYSIA IS LOOKING FOR A FINANCE EXECUTIVE

Salary Range: Competitive Salary Package + Monthly Performance Incentive + Fixed Allowance

Location: Petaling Jaya

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

1. Internal Reporting
2. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information.
4. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports to regional offices and HQ.
5. Statutory Reporting
6. Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
7. Support the preparation of corporate tax filings.
8. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
9. Budgeting & Forecasting
10. Participate in the company’s budgeting and forecasting processes.
11. Collaborate with departments to consolidate budgets and ensure alignment with company goals and financial strategies.
12. Tax Matters
13. Provide support in managing company tax matters, including but not limited to:
14. Withholding tax
15. Other relevant local taxes
16. Fixed Asset Management
17. Oversee acquisition, tracking, and disposal of fixed assets.
18. Ensure accurate recording and reporting of asset values, depreciation, and asset-related transactions.
19. Internal Control (J-SOX Compliance)
20. Assist in coordinating and consolidating J-SOX control documentation.
21. Ensure timely and accurate submission of required check sheets to regional teams and HQ.
22. Ad-Hoc Responsibilities:
23. Provide support to the Finance Team Leader on special assignments and projects as required.
24. Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in finance is preferred. Experience in Malaysian taxation is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems will be an added advantage.
