About the role

  • Provide service excellence to employees’ and address internal stakeholders’ queries timely and with minimal error.
  • Perform on the job training and rotation to support finance pillars whenever necessary (e.g. commercial finance, accounting, tax, audit, costing & budgeting, treasury etc).
  • Perform month end and year end closing under the guidance of direct manager.
  • Preparation of monthly management reports, statutory reports, and ad hoc reports under the guidance of direct manager.
  • Reconcile bank transactions/statements.
  • Handle full set of accounts and generate relevant financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Process invoices, quotation, receipts, and purchase orders.
  • Analyze and record financial data, assisting with audits, reviews, and tax preparations.
  • Handle day to day operations of accounting record & filling. Ensure proper documentation, comprehensive and easily accessible filing / archiving system.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks assigned by the management.

Finance Operations

  • Shadow finance associates and executives in his/her absence.
  • Custodian and subject matter expertise for finance systems and policies. Brief new and

existing employees about finance SOPs as and when required. Conduct knowledge transfer to

new Finance colleagues as and when required.

  • Finance vendor sourcing, qualifying, contract negotiation and management, where applicable under the guidance of direct manager.
  • Contribute to finance transformation projects.
  • Stay updated to ensure finance processes comply to government legislations and relevant Acts.

About you

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years’ generalist experience from Pharma, FMCG, and Healthcare industries, specifically in finance & accounting field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong intrapreneurial skills and mindset from start up to established organization.
  • Organized, attention to detail / meticulous.
  • Versatile and resilient, ability to stay positive in high-pressure and ambiguous environments and work towards delivering results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity in accounting / finance software, ERP systems. SAP system fundamentals are advantageous.
