Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Bookkeeping: Prepare and post monthly journals for payroll, claims, and recurring expenses; reconcile bank statements; monitor cash flow across multiple entities.
- Payroll & Claims: Verify HR-prepared payroll summaries and claims; disburse salaries, claims, and vendor payments; coordinate with HR to resolve discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Generate monthly financial reports for internal review and client submission by the 5th of each month; support ad hoc reporting such as budgeting, cost analysis, and audits.
- Invoicing & Receivables: Issue 2–3 monthly invoices per client; track collections and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Statutory & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Malaysian statutory obligations (SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS); prepare supporting documents for tax filings and annual returns.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of full-spectrum accounting experience.
- Familiarity with AutoCount or similar accounting systems preferred.
Skills & Traits
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently across multiple entities.
- High integrity and confidentiality handling payroll and financial data.
- Good command of English and basic communication skills.
