Job summary

WorkerzDirect Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysia-based fintech company specialising in e-wallet and remittance services.

We are expanding our Finance team to support financial reporting, settlement reconciliation, FX margin tracking, and regulatory reporting under a maker-checker-approver structure. We are hiring a Finance professional to perform daily settlement reconciliations, monitor FOREX rates, oversee transaction flows including refunds and chargebacks, and assist in the preparation of monthly

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience - FinTech / IT is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Experienced in SQL Accounting software.
• Able to start work immediately.
• Analytical, good working attitude and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational accounting in settlement reconciliation report.
• Assist in monitoring FOREX rates in buying and selling.
• Monitor transaction flows, refunds and chargebacks.
• Assist in preparing operational SOPs adheres to BNM regulations.
• Assist in system/platform monitoring and testing to ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Check transaction reports and highlight discrepancies or system issues.
• Perform finance functions in accounts receivable, payable, general ledger, cash, and bank management.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly closing, quarterly and yearly management accounts and financial reports.
• Liaise with banks, payment partners, auditors, tax agents and co-sec.
• Attend to auditors or tax agent queries in relation to annual audit and annual tax submission.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience - FinTech / IT is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office- Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Experienced in SQL Accounting software.
• Able to start work immediately.
• Analytical, good working attitude and able to work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload and able to meet deadline.
