Job description

Salary: RM5500
Location: Level 21 & Level 23, Tower 3, PETRONAS Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur City Centre, 50088 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Working day & hour: Monday – Friday: 9.00am to 6.00pm
Contract duration: 12 months contract under PERSOLKELLY

Duties:

Processing of vendor invoices, especially documents in Thai language. Execute the day-to-day operations of Accounts Payables for Thailand operations through timely recording and processing in the Accounts Payables process, and ultimately ensure prompt payment to vendors, including advising on matters related to vendor payments and invoice processing.

Issuance of customer invoices and processing of collections, including trade and non-trade receivables, in line with the Policies & Procedures and LOA to ensure effective and efficient overall receivables management. Manage the day-to-day operations of Accounts Receivable for Thailand through robust credit assessment, streamlined billing, and stringent collection processes—including imposing credit collateral such as Letters of Credit and Bank Guarantees—in compliance with statutory requirements and relevant policies and procedures. This aims to mitigate credit risks, achieve efficiency in the Accounts Receivable process, and ensure prompt collections from customers.

Act as a Finance Business Partner to the Sales department and Customer Service by working together on collections and credit control management to ensure effective receivables collection. Serve as a critical business partner by providing strategic guidance on financial advisory services related to credit terms, credit risks, and customer collection matters within Thailand. Recommend solutions to improve invoicing quality and collection procedures by timely implementation of updated work processes, and collaborate with business units such as Customer Service, Logistics, and Sales to achieve end-to-end Order to Cash efficiency.

Support month-end closing and the preparation and generation of monthly financial statements for Thailand OPU by ensuring accuracy and completeness of journal entries and the reasonableness of GL transactions. Strategize, coordinate, and execute the monthly close process, including reconciliation of AR and AP sub-ledgers to the GL, preparation of AR month-end schedules, and receivables aging reports to escalate customer overdue. Collaborate with other functions on collections and payments for operations in Thailand to improve forecast accuracy and support optimum working capital management.

Maintain and update procedure manuals and forms for Account Payables (Procure to Pay) and Account Receivables (Order to Cash) functions in English.

Manage staff claims and ensure timely payment.

Requirements:

Minimum Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

Knowledge of SAP or any other integrated ERP system

Ability to read and speak Thai

Competency in Excel spreadsheets and other Microsoft Office applications

Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities

A team player who enjoys working in a multicultural environment
