About the role

We are seeking a talented Finance Executive to join the team at ART FACADE SDN BHD, a Facade Specialist in the Construction industry. This full-time role is based in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, and plays a crucial part in our financial accounting and reporting operations.

What you'll be doing

1. Perform daily accounting operations in accounts payables and receivables
2. Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts, budget planning, and financial performance reports to enhance financial efficiency
3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounts
4. Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures
5. Liaise/coordinate with internal and external parties on accounting and financial issues as required
6. Oversee project costing, progress claims, and financial reporting
7. Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making
8. Process and review employee claims for accuracy and compliance with company policies
9. Ensure timely reimbursement and proper documentation for all claims
10. Keep organized records of claims and expenses for audits and reporting
11. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
12. Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2. At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within the Construction industry
3. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
4. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
