Job summary
A leading accounting services provider in Penang is seeking an experienced accountant to manage fixed assets, prepare month-end reports, and support audits. The ideal candidate must have an ACCA or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, as well as experience with MRP/ERP solutions like SAP S/4 Hana. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential for this role.
Qualifications

Responsibilities
- Managing the fixed asset register, tracking asset status, and ensuring accurate capitalization of new assets.
- Preparing and analyzing month-end reports of fixed assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Ensuring that all fixed asset transactions comply with company policies and relevant regulations. Providing support for internal and external audits concerning the fixed assets. Managing the process of asset disposals and transfers, ensuring proper documentation and accounting. Ensuring invoices are accurate and match purchase orders. Reconciling vendor statements, resolving discrepancies, and investigating any unallocated payments. Any assignments in relation to the company from time to time.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess an ACCA or Bachelor of Accounting.
- Working experience with MRP/ERP solutions, especially SAP S/4 Hana.
- Computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. Proficiency in Mandarin will be considered an added advantage for this position.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision and a high level of self-motivation.
- A well-organized and self-starter and able to follow standard working procedure.
- Ability to work well with other team members and under pressure to achieve a very tight accounts schedule.
