About the role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Executive to join our team in Gelang Patah, Johor. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in our finance and accounting operations.
What you'll be doing
Prepare and analyse financial statements, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare annual tax submission, estimation, and other tax related matter
Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions
Conduct regular reconciliations and audits to maintain the integrity of financial data
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and other financial reports
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making
Liaise with internal team and external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and bankers to ensure compliance and optimal financial operations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance and accounting processes
Manage monthly payroll processing, including statutory contributions such as EPF, SOCSO, and PCB.
Responsible for payment and fund arrangement
Manage of document filing, ensure the documents are completeness and accuracy according to company’s policies
What we're looking for
Mandarin speaking is preferable to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
5+ years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry or MNC
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA, CPA) is preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
