Job summary

A leading company in metal finishing solutions is seeking a Finance Executive to manage operations in general ledger, accounts payable, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in finance and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential for liaising with clients. This role involves preparing timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and managing cash flow effectively.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have at least a Diploma or a Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in finance-related roles.
• Proficient in Mandarin, English, and Malay.

• Responsible for accounts' completeness and accuracy, including ledger and treasury.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with departments regarding customer claims and payments.

Job description

Responsible for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of operations in the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset, and intercompany accounts, as well as treasury transactions and bank reconciliations for month end & year-end closing of accounts.

Reconcile and analyze various trial balance accounts including, but not limited to, cash accounts, prepaid expenses, other assets, intercompany accounts, and miscellaneous accruals.

Co-ordinate with superior and other department for work related to customer, suppliers, staffs claim on progress collection and payments;

Assisting and support in the preparation of management accounts and financial reports & SST submission report, withholding tax, and corporate income tax submission in a timely manner.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory and regulatory requirements, Company's policies and procedures, and relevant reporting / submission deadlines

Prepare the Balance Sheet & Income statement schedules in a timely manner for review & audit purposes.

Assist in managing the cash flow position and prepare the relevant forecast in a timely manner.

Ensure all local regulatory reporting and filing obligations are met including liaising with auditors, banks, and other government agencies.

Undertake any other tasks and responsibilities assigned when require

Requirement :

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Advanced / Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent

At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

Required language(s): English, Malay and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
