Job summary

Wilhelmsen Global Business Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a senior finance professional to lead governance and optimization of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud and related finance apps in a maritime context.

You will drive data governance, standardize reporting, manage stakeholders, and coordinate releases with vendors to deliver measurable business value across global finance operations.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in finance processes, incl. vessel accounting and maritime finance.
• Experience with SAP Finance, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar enterprise platforms.
• Proven application management, lifecycle, release coordination and vendor collaboration.
• Ability to translate finance needs into scalable digital solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, master data and reporting standards.

Main responsibilities and tasks

• Design scalable finance solutions across applications, integrations, data and reporting platforms, aligned with enterprise architecture principles and WSM’s growth ambitions.
• Drive the lifecycle governance process of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud and related finance applications, including roadmaps, support models, release management, standards, vendor performance and continuous improvement.
• Drive finance data governance, including data quality, clear ownership, master data management and consistent reporting.
• Standardize reporting platforms and promote consistent definitions, key performance indicators and single-source-of-truth principles.
• Drive adoption through stakeholder engagement, targeted communication, training input, super-user networks and improved finance data literacy.
• Govern and oversee WSM finance initiatives and related projects, ensuring clear scope, ownership, delivery, adoption and business value.

Mandatory requirements

• Senior-level experience and a strong understanding of finance processes, preferably including vessel accounting and finance, corporate finance and accounting, and maritime operational dependencies.
• Practical experience with SAP Finance, SAP Analytics Cloud or comparable enterprise finance and reporting platforms.
• Proven application management experience, including lifecycle management, release coordination, vendor collaboration and user-support models.
• A strong solution-architecture mindset and the ability to translate finance requirements into scalable digital solutions.
• Sound understanding of finance data governance, data quality, master data and reporting standards.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and change-adoption skills.
• Demonstrated project management experience.

Additional preferences

• Experience in ship management, vessel accounting, vessel OPEX management, procurement finance or other asset-intensive environments.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms, analytics, integration or finance transformation initiatives.
