Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Data Analyst to collect, organize, verify, and analyze data from accounting systems and other sources. You will assist in creating customized reports and dashboards to deliver meaningful insights to management.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Power BI and MS Office. Collaboration across teams will drive data-driven recommendations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent is required.
• 1 year experience as Account Analyst is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to validate data for accuracy.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with numerical sensitivity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, verify and analyze data from accounting systems and other sources.
• Assist in developing customized reports and dashboards for management insights.
• Identify trends and anomalies to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate findings into recommendations.
• Improve tools and processes to enhance analytic accuracy.
• Perform operational variance analysis and identify root causes.
• Support finance operations as needed.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses as assigned by management.
