Finance & Controlling Trainee – Your future position

Are you a young individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys juggling multiple tasks with competing priorities? If so, this exciting, multi-faceted role is for you.

You will be part of the local Finance team, managing all finance and controlling activities, including financial reporting (group and statutory), local compliance reports, Trade Affairs, Indirect Tax, etc. You will work actively with various stakeholders and support the Finance Manager to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Your Main Responsibilities

1. Financial reporting and control, including Group and Statutory reporting
2. Financial and Management Accounting, as well as Government and regulatory reporting
3. Managerial or tax reporting and analysis
4. Manage local trade affair compliance matters
5. Assist in checking compliance with internal procedures and controls
6. Support local management in developing and analyzing business plans and cost-saving opportunities
7. Collaborate and partner with shared services, regional finance teams, and local cross-functional teams
8. Undertake finance-related projects as assigned

Your Professional Profile Includes

• A degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, and/or relevant professional qualification
• Min 3-5 years of related experience
• Fluent in English and the local language
• SAP FI/CO experience is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to travel between Givaudan affiliate sites for projects
• Willing to relocate for overseas assignments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and a commitment to continuous personal development
• Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and high-quality standards
