Job summary

Brightstar Computer Sdn Bhd is offering an Accounting Trainee internship in Kuala Lumpur. You will learn day-to-day bookkeeping, reconciliations and document handling within our accounts team.

You will assist with data entry of sales, purchase and payment transactions, prepare bank reconciliations under supervision, and support AP/AR with supplier and customer statements. An internship completion letter is provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing accounting-related qualification (certificate/diploma/degree).
• Must fulfil internship period required by your institution.
• Basic accounting knowledge and Excel skills.
• Careful, organised and eager to learn.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry of sales, purchase and payment transactions.
• Help prepare bank and account reconciliations under supervision.
• Match and file invoices, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Support the AP/AR team with supplier and customer statements.
• Assist the accounts team with month-end and ad-hoc tasks.
