As Finance Associate, you are expected to register with ICAEW and complete the three (3)-year training and practical work experience with Haleon.

At Haleon, our modern and technology-led Regional Finance Capability Centre – APAC team, we work together with colleagues from across Finance to support our businesses across APAC in delivering the best outcome for our patients and consumers. Our HBS Capability Centre in Malaysia will be part of a global network of Regional Finance hubs to share best practices and knowledge whilst working closely with our Regional Finance teams.

You will be responsible to support the Close & Control or Planning &Forecasting team which includes the preparation, review and submission of in-market annual, quarterly and monthly financial statements. Also, you will be responsible to provide Value added Analytics on Actual and forecasted Business Performance in the areas of P&L, BS and Cash flow. Deep understanding and execute the Haleon Internal Control Framework.

Responsibilities:

Participate in monthly financial cycle such as support the Finance Lead in the preparation monthly actual / forecast deliverables in accordance with Haleon Corporate requirement.

Collaborate with stakeholders (Finance Business Partner, Sales and Marketing team) and other functions (e.g., P2P, O2C, Stat & Tax) to ensure successful month-end close.

Attend finance review meeting on monthly basis to provide value added support and bridge the business gap.

Responsible for supporting the preparation of the monthly OPEX, A&P, Sundry, headcount and controls. Review and processing journals as per Haleon Finance Manuel requirement.

Support the Finance lead in any ad-Hocs query for actual / forecast and manage stakeholder request.

Understand and practise the Haleon Internal Control System as per ICFW requirement.

Support process improvement projects

Understanding and navigate the ERP system such as SAP, BOARD, BISON, Business Analytics tools and

Year 3 – Exploring into Financial Controlling, Plannings & Forecasting or Business Partnering role.

Minimum completion of ICAEW “Certificate” level.

You must be a registered student of ICAEW.

Must be fluent in English – both written and spoken
