A leading company in Malaysia is seeking a Finance Executive to manage financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable tasks. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a bachelor's degree in finance or a related field. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a team, possessing proficiency in English, Chinese, and Thai languages, and a passion for finance.
Assisting in day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, cash flow management, and bank reconciliations.
Assisting in the financial reporting process, including preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external use.
Supporting AR functions including issuing of invoices, CN, debtor statements (internal and external customers) and liaise with clients on related matters.
Reconcile payments received with invoices issued to ensure accuracy in accounts receivable records.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and follow up with customers to collect payments. Proficiency in speaking and writing English & Chinese language is a requirement.
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or disputes related to billing or payments by communicating with customers, sales teams, or relevant parties. Proficiency in speaking and writing Thai language is a requirement.
Supporting AP functions including receive, review, and process invoices from vendors and suppliers for services rendered to the business.
Verify that invoices are accurate, properly coded, and approved for payment according to company policies and procedures.
Prepare and schedule payments to vendors, ensuring adherence to payment terms and deadlines.
Assist other analysts and managers with complex financial analysis
Supporting in budget and forecast activities.
High degree of attention to detail and accuracy in completing assignments, including, reconciliation, summary, and analytical skills.
Ensure the accounts & accounting documents are well prepared, kept and updated
Assist in other ad hoc finance & accounting related duties as assigned by the manager.
Job Requirement :
Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting or similar. & at least 1 - 2 years of accounting experience.
Candidates with professional qualifications such as ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MIA will be added advantage.
Problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to work through issues with moderate complexity and guide others in the resolution of problems.
Able to work independently and in a teamwork environment with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude, team player, passionate at work, willingness to learn and strong determination to succeed.
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Excel) or related software.
Willing to work rotating shifts, if required.
