A leading company in supply chain solutions is seeking an AP Accountant to manage accounts payable effectively. Responsibilities include tracking payments, reconciling entries, and generating reports. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and hold a degree in accounting with relevant experience.

• Qualified accountant.

• The AP Accountant is the key support contact for the center and local in term of supporting the accounts payable
• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including purchases, invoices, statements, etc
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Working closely with another team to ensure all vendors and employees payables are being verified and correctly recorded in the books
• Working closely with another team to ensure vendors are paid promptly as per the terms
• Responding to vendor enquiries regarding the accounts payable
• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
• Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos
• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions

Job Requirements

• Experience in using Excel, Power Point and Word
• Analytical / problem solver
• Excellent interpersonal skills and meticulous
• Able to work independently
• Ability to work and deliver results within agreed timeline
• Good communication skills - fluent in spoken & written English
• Attention-to-details, and diligent
• Ability to work with multi-cultural environment
• Qualified accountant with a degree or professional qualification
• 1 to 3 years of working experience in any area preferred with SAP ERP system knowledge is preferable
